SEC-POL // COMPLIANCE DOCUMENT

Privacy Policy

Document: RUSH-PRIV-01
Effective: April 30, 2026
Status: Forensic Grade Verified
Core Operational Principle

"Your data, files, and configurations stay on your device."

We operate under the absolute guarantee that no file contents, diagnostic codes, layout structures, or telemetry ever exit your local processing boundary.

01Introduction

Welcome. This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, desktop applications, widgets, browser extensions, and web services (collectively referred to as the "Applications" or "Apps") published under the "Rush Tools" developer account on the Apple App Store, Mac App Store, and our official website (https://rush.tools).

Because our portfolio contains a diverse range of utility tools—including but not limited to file viewers, format converters, log analyzers, metadata extractors, window managers, split-screen utilities, and system widgets—we have designed this Privacy Policy to protect your privacy across all our services under a single, comprehensive standard.

02What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, share, or sell your personal information. Specifically:

  • File Contents & Data Assets: We never access, read, upload, or transmit any files, documents, databases, logs, certificates, certificates keys, images, archives, or media you open, parse, convert, or analyze within our Applications.
  • Personal Identity Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any other government-issued identifiers.
  • Location Information: Our Applications do not access, request, or track your GPS or network-based location.
  • Biometric or Health Data: We do not request or process biometric or health-related data.
  • Cross-App Tracking & Profiling: We do not track your digital activities across third-party apps or websites. We enforce a zero-tracking profile policy.

03Scope of App Features & Permitted Data Processing

Our Applications require local system permissions solely to perform their core offline functions. All processing occurs in accordance with the strict regulations below:

3.1 Local File Processing (Viewers, Converters, Analyzers)

For Apps designed to view, read, parse, convert, or analyze files (e.g., certificate viewers, log parsers, database readers, document converters):

  • On-Device Sandbox: All reading, decoding, formatting, and file export operations occur entirely within the App's local device sandbox.
  • Zero Transmission: No raw file bytes, structural metadata, or output formats are ever sent to external servers.

3.2 Subscription and Purchase Management (via RevenueCat)

To unlock premium (Pro) features across our Apps, we process payments through Apple's App Store payment infrastructure. We integrate RevenueCat (a secure subscription infrastructure provider) to validate receipts and manage subscription entitlements.

  • Processed Information: RevenueCat receives only an anonymous, randomly generated user identifier, App Store transaction IDs, purchase timestamps, product identifiers, and active subscription states.
  • No Identity Link: This information is completely anonymized and cannot be linked back to your real identity or files.

3.3 User Feedback and Developer Support (via Cloudflare)

Our Applications and website provide an optional support, contact, and feature-request interface. If you choose to contact us:

  • Voluntary Information: We receive only the email address you choose to provide (which may be left blank or anonymized) and the message text you submit.
  • Secure Infrastructure: This feedback is routed through secure Cloudflare servers. It is used strictly to respond to your support queries or feature requests and is never shared, rented, or used for marketing.

3.4 Optional Analytics & Diagnostics (via Apple)

If you have explicitly opted into sharing crash reports and usage statistics with developers in your iOS or macOS system settings (Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Analytics & Improvements):

Apple may provide us with aggregated, completely anonymized diagnostic data (such as app crash logs, launch times, and screen views). This data is controlled and anonymized by Apple. You may turn this off at any device setting level, and our Apps will continue to function flawlessly.

3.5 Non-Personalized Advertisements (Select Apps Only)

SCOPE NOTICE // ADVERTISEMENT POLICY

The vast majority of Applications published by Rush Tools are 100% ad-free. Ad modules are completely absent from our viewer, reader, and converter utilities. Contextual, non-personalized advertising is restricted solely to a maximum of 2 or 3 free-tier consumer applications within our entire portfolio, which are clearly designated on their respective App Store listings. If your App listing does not explicitly declare advertisements, it is 100% ad-free.

A minor selection of free-tier consumer apps may include contextual, non-personalized banner or interstitial advertisements managed via Google AdMob.

  • No Personalized Ads: Advertising personalization is permanently disabled at the code level. Advertisements are served based solely on the general context of the App itself (e.g., app category or language) and never on user search history, behavior tracking, or user profiling.
  • No Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Prompt: We NEVER integrate or display Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) tracking consent prompt because our Apps do not perform cross-app tracking. The IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) is fully disabled.
  • No User Profiles: No user profiles, device identifiers, or search histories are ever sent or sold to advertising networks.
  • Pro subscribers are permanently guaranteed a 100% ad-free experience across all Applications.

04Local Data Storage & User-Configured Sync

Our Apps may write data to your local device storage to preserve your preferences and configurations.

  • App Settings: Theme selections (dark/light), default folder mappings, zoom levels, and list preferences are saved locally.
  • iCloud Sync (Optional): If a specific App supports configuration backups or cross-device preference sync via Apple iCloud, this synchronization is handled directly by Apple's secure iCloud APIs. We do not host, view, or manage your iCloud data storage.
  • Cache Clearance: Because all cached data, file history lists, and preferences are stored locally, you can wipe all associated data instantly by deleting the Application from your device.

05Account and Data Deletion

SYS_STATUS // ACCOUNTLESS_ARCH = ACTIVE

Our Apps operate on an "account-less" architecture. We do not require you to create an account, register an email, or sign in to use any utility.

  • No Server-Side Accounts: Because we do not create, maintain, or store user accounts or personal profiles on external databases, there is no server-side user data to delete.
  • Absolute Right to Delete: To execute your right to data deletion, simply uninstall the Application from your device. This immediately and permanently purges all local preference caches, saved history, and licensing tokens stored in the sandbox.

06Children's Privacy

Our Applications are utility-first tools not directed at or designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our support channels, please contact us immediately, and we will purge the feedback record from our support logs.

07Security of Data

Your files are secured by the hardware-level encryption and operational sandbox models built directly into Apple iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Any optional web transmissions (such as contacting support or checking subscription states) are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

08Third-Party Services Privacy Policies

For full transparency, the third-party integrations we utilize operate under their own privacy declarations:

Third-Party Liability DisclaimerThe Applications may contain links to or integrations with third-party sites or services (e.g., RevenueCat for subscription management). These third-party sites operate under separate and completely independent. We hold absolutely no responsibility or liability for the content, privacy standards, or activities of these integrated services.

09Governing Principles & Disputes

This Privacy Policy, our processing boundaries, and any privacy-related interactions are governed solely by the Developer’s internal policies. Both parties agree that any disputes, clarifications, or concerns regarding data processing under this policy shall be resolved exclusively through mutual, out-of-court consultation and agreement.
